23.01.2022 Tuesday was such a beautiful day for a nature walk, so many conversations about what we could see, feel and smell. The children collected different materials then used glue to make some amazing collages!

23.01.2022 Taking Seven children to the movies? So much fun! We had a blast today watching Trolls world tour, the children were so excited, it was also the first time at the movies for two of our little ones and they did so well

23.01.2022 Because today’s the day the teddy bears have their picnic! This morning we participated in a virtual teddy bears picnic, to celebrate the biggest morning tea!The children brought along their favourite teddies (and other soft snuggly friends) to care today. We had a Unikitty, 2 teddies, 2 bunnies, and a giraffe!... We sat on the mat outside under the umbrella and chatted with the other children, singing teddy bear songs and reading a teddy bear book, then we video called another educator and her children and shared stories about of special bears/snuggly friends we had brought in.

19.01.2022 So lovely to have a bit of warmness and sunshine We sure made the most of it today! The children began a discussion on emotions and feelings with our playdo, as they described what their little person they had made was feeling each time they changed the facial parts.

19.01.2022 Love the thought process of the big kids! This afternoon while exploring outside my after school boys found a cool bug after a while of debating what it could be we decided to use the iPad to look it up. The boys came to the conclusion that it was a baby cicada!

07.01.2022 Our little ones have been doing a lot of exploring with their senses over the past few weeks. They absolutely loved this simple activity squishing their fingers through the fruit watching the water and juice drip and tasting both the lemons and oranges.

06.01.2022 After making our own bubbles and developing our blowing skills at the start of the week, today we snagged in some blow painting. The children enjoyed figuring out how to blow effectively through the straw and found it funny when the paint ran away!

06.01.2022 Covid-19 such a difficult concept for little people Social distancing with little ones is hard, children naturally want to be close, to be held and interacted with. So how do we implement such hard restrictions while still nurturing, teaching and being emotionally available and supportive? This is what we are doing!... Spending as much time outside as possible, teaching hygienic practices in every aspect of our day, and talking to our little ones about germs and personal space. See more
