23.01.2022 What is an On-site Sewerage Facility Krystel Kleer Wastewater treatment Plant? On-site sewerage facilities (OSSF) are used to treat sewage generated from a premise that is located in an unsewered area. The OSSF must be located within property boundaries which includes the land application area. OSSF include all types of wastewater treatment and land application, such as septic tanks, aerated wastewater treatment systems (AWTS) , biofilter systems, composting toilets, and activated sludge systems. 21.01.2022 Controlling of Mosquito in HSTP systems: Our Krystel Kleer Systems are designed with air vents, to allow air flow to the mechanical parts of the systems and stop any overheating. However, we have noticed an increase in calls regarding mosquitoes breeding in our system in some areas. We are working closely with local council to come up with preventative measures. If you notice an increase in mosquito’s infestation around your system please call our office so we can record att...ention at your next service. There are monthly and 3 monthly treatments available at hardware stores and supermarkets, that can be placed and used for treatment of the Aerator Box on top off your tank. Please DO NOT place anything inside the tank itself as this could be disruptive to the bacteria is your Krystel Kleer System.
