24.01.2022 Good afternoon Viewers, Welcome to the King Of Kim In Concrete’s last post for 2019. So yesterday we successfully treated yet another roof slab. This one was in our own back yard of the SHIRE. 120m3 In Sutherland! Concrete supplier was Holcim & our client and Builder was North Shore Property Constructions.... My fellow partner in crime & co compare Mark (FRACTURE) Glenn is the one in the blue hat ensuring all went well. Enjoy the pics as I am so content by returning to site today the slab is flooded with water. Perfect curing! 23.01.2022 Campsie Central was recently completed by Deicorp in Sydney's inner west. This project includes 112 apartments, 4 commercial tenancies and a basement carpark. Krystol Group supplied Deicorp with products from our Krystol admixture and Hyperseal waterstop product ranges. Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM), Krystol T1, Krystol Repair Grout, Hyperstop DB, Hyperseal BR and Hyperseal D200 waterstops were applied to the lift pits, tanks, culverts and tie bolt holes. 12.01.2022 Oscar George Projects! Childcare centre project. Car park slab with Krystol - 180m3 in total. Thanks to Gunlake Banksmeadow plant for a great day with great service. Slab was poured, placed & finished within 8 hours.

10.01.2022 Prime Apartments were recently completed by JQZ at Macquarie Park which is located next to Macquarie Shopping Centre and train station in Sydney. This $200m project included construction of 680 apartments & retail outlets across 4 buildings. Krystol Group supplied Greys Waterproofing, the waterproofing sub-contractor, with liquid membrane products including KGM-100 waterproofing membrane and KGM-425 primer to this project. KGM-100 is a polyurethane membrane which is coated ov...er surfaces to form a seamless watertight finish. KGM-425 is a general purpose, solvent-based primer formulated to prime most surfaces prior to using KGM-100. These products were applied externally to the balconies and roof decks. More info... 08.01.2022 Hyperseal BR waterstop is a high performance, hydrophilic butyl rubber waterstop, which swells to form a long-lasting water-tight compression seal. The swelling action is the result between water and hydrophilic groups which are part of the Hyperseal BR molecular structure. Hyperseal BR is suitable for static or low movement construction joints, cold-joints and penetrations where there is any concern regarding water penetration. 08.01.2022 Busy Bees Kindy in Wollongabba QLD, completed this year by Box and Co Builders, required remedial waterproofing to the existing building. This 166-place kindergarten contains a rooftop playground which was restored and protected using Krystol T1, supplied by our QLD Distributor, Lyndons. Krystol T1, a surface-applied slurry treatment, was applied by Townes Waterproofing Pty Ltd (ph: 07 3416 4274) to the concrete roof of this building. Krystol T1 transforms new or existing concrete into a permanent waterproofing barrier as it lowers the permeability of the concrete to protect against the ingress of water and waterborne chemicals. 01.01.2022 University of Sunshine Coast (USC) in Moreton Bay QLD is nearing completion and will be open for students in February 2020. Stage 1 includes the Moreton Bay Foundation Building, an education building containing a large lecture theatre, multi-purpose rooms, student centre, library, food and beverage area and multi-deck car park. The new Uni is currently being built by Hansen Yuncken on the site of the former Petrie Paper Mill, right next to the Petrie train station.
