20.01.2022 Attention: V-Rod Road, Race and V-Rod Destroyer Owners We have been quiet for a few weeks now as we have been working very hard, designing and testing many new pump styles in order to produce a few new versions of our very popular K & S Autosport Billet Modular Water Pump. The first thing you will notice as an option on all models is the water outlet barb is available in the centre and not offset as you saw in Version 1. ... A lot of time has gone into the redesign in order to address fitment and also aesthetics. On top of this, we were asked to consider making a modified "shorty" version to suit the V-Rod Destroyers with OEM pipes as it seems a lot of competitors are still running them. We originally built our first pump design with a set of Destroyer pipes we had in house. Although the clearance between the pump and our pipes was only around 6 mm, we figured with heat wrap applied there would be no issues. We then found that there was quite a significant variance in regards to clearance with the stock Destroyer pipes from one set to the next, up to around 6 mm! So we went "back to the drawing board" and made a V-Rod Destroyer specific "shorty" pump with extra clearance, just for the stock Destroyer pipes. The first one was shipped out last week to Sydney based V-Rod Destroyer racer, Evan Mc Cane. He just sent us a couple of pictures to show us how it looks and to show fellow Destroyer racers the clearance it now has after he has fitted the heat wrap to his stock Destroyer pipes. We think it looks great Evan and we are glad you love your new K & S Autosport Billet Destroyer "Shorty" Water Pump :) Best of luck at this weekends race meeting Sydney Dragway!
