23.01.2022 During today’s year 7 STEM class the girls made lip balm! The girls had to measure out and melt wax, and determine how much oil they needed for the size of their lip balm containers.

22.01.2022 The year 9s kicked off term 4 with a mystery cooking challenge. Each team was given a bag of ingredients to create a meal The girls jumped straight into the challenge and cooked some delicious meals!

Djuki Mala wowed Karratha with a spectacular fusion of traditional dance, pop-culture and storytelling that is a marvel of timing, comedy and clowning with a hefty dose of heart and soul. Do yourself a favour and head out to Roebourne for the free concert on Saturday night for the closing of NAIDOC week.

16.01.2022 NAIDOC at Karratha Primary School. Year 7 students Nigella and Teefa opened the celebrations with a Welcome to Country addressing the whole school. So proud of these girls the day was followed by face painting, bracelet making, story telling and red culture head bands.

15.01.2022 Taiyah and Chloe started their CERT 1 in CALM today. They will complete 4 x 1 week blocks throughout the term.

15.01.2022 Our year 8s were sure to remember the five D’s of Dodgeball: dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge while playing against each other yesterday . The competition was fierce, with both teams winning a number of games!

11.01.2022 Karratha Development officer Chanti McHenry flew down to Perth, Whadjuk country to model for Colourful Cultures 2020. She looked absolutely stunning wearing the Jarawee label. Showcasing how proud she is to be a strong Aboriginal women. Well done Chanti McHenry so glad to have you on our team.

10.01.2022 Our year 7s had a ball today in their Zumba class The girls had to step outside their comfort zone but everyone joined in and had a lot of fun!

08.01.2022 A big shoutout to three of our girls, Tia, Tatiana and Shyann, who represented Karratha Netball Association at the 2020 Association Championships in Perth during the holidays.

05.01.2022 Today we headed out again with the City of Karratha to help plant trees as a part of their rejuvenation project. We planted over 800 trees at Maitland Lookout and cant wait to see the area start to grow!

04.01.2022 Today we had the privilege of having Chanti McHenry and Tacita Walker both from Ngarluma Country visit our school with students from Karratha Girls Academy at K...arratha Senior High School.
