18.01.2022 Australian National Gasshuku - 2019. I would like to take this opportunity of thanking all Dojo Heads and their students, who attended our Annual Australia Gas...shuku, from Sydney, Melbourne Newcastle, Ormeau and Gold Coast. It was so great to get together again to train, discuss so many issues with everyone and to generally have some good fun! Congratulations to those who graded successfully namely: Elizabeth Finney ( Shodan- Ho), Taeden Turner ( Shodan- Ho), Margaret Omond (Shodan), Michael Omond (Shodan), Neeshas Khandagale (Shodan) and Olivia Lord (Nidan) . . . . . . Well Done to you all, this shows a lot of dedication! Furthermore, I would like to express my sincere appreciation and thanks to Sensei Trisha and Sensei Tasha for all the hard work which they put in as well as the support which they gave me! I feel the Gasshuku was a tremendous success, and once more express my sincere appreciation to all! TWO THINGS to bear in mind for all those who graded: 1. Your Sensei may be old and frail, But ........Keep in mind, he taught you all you know. But . . . . . not everything he knows! 2. Will it be easy? NOPE! Worth it? ABSOLUTELY A Black Belt simply holds your Gi in place. It takes years of learning, sweat, hard work and introspection to Create One! Thanks again to everyone. Oss Sensei Brian
