24.01.2022 Set Goals. Achieve Goals. K’s in May invites you to set yourself a goal to get moving and keep active. Participants can nominate the distance they want to achieve between the 1st 31st May 2020. If you reach your goal, you will be rewarded with a medal recognising your achievement. Goals can be set for any distance from 50km but please be realistic, set a goal that is achievable for YOU.... Some T&C’s Goals to be in increments of 50km. Family Entry is for up to 4 people, each member can set their own goal for the month. Team entry is up to 4 people with a goal set for each team member to complete throughout the month of May. Participants who have achieved their goal will receive a medal showing the number of K’s achieved. For Family & Team entries, each member will receive a medal. Tracking your distance There are several free apps available to track your distance. Strava, Map my Run, Runkeeper, Pacer etc all have free versions available to use. If you are not tech-savvy, just keep a diary to keep track of your distance. Once you or your family/team have completed your distance, send us an email at [email protected] with details (link to app, screenshot etc) and a pic to share. We will add your name to the list of Goals Achieved and share your achievement on our Facebook page (only with permission) and post your medal out to you.
23.01.2022 REMINDER - Registrations close on Sunday 17th May 2020. Those wishing to change their goal K's for the month need to let us know by Sunday night as we cannot make any changes once the registrations have closed. We have received a large number of requests from people asking to increase their K's which is great to see. If for any reason you need to lower your target please let us know, we understand that sometimes things happen and we would rather have you set an achievable ...goal than give up If you want to change your goal please email us at [email protected] #maymotivation #ksinmay
23.01.2022 With just a couple of days to go until the end of May we are receiving many notifications from those who have reached their goals. One of those who has completed the K's in May challenge is Kirsty Branagan. Kirsty not only completed the 100km challenge she set herself, she did so while undergoing 24 days chemotherapy treatment plus an overnight stay in hospital. Kirsty you absolutely ROCK

12.01.2022 K-9 K's Taking the dog for a walk or run is a great way to clock up the K's - and the Dogs love it too!
