No words can describe the amount of thanks and gratitude for the decades of training and support she has given to Kei Shin Kan Karate Do Japan. She will be sadly missed here, and hope she experiences all the happiness being reunited with Grand Master Takazawa. Photo: Grand Master Takazawa, Satako Takazawa, Shihan Uchida 2009.

12.01.2022 Seiza. Each training session commences and ends with Seiza. Mostly without fleeting thought about its significance. In Japan this method of sitting has always been a form of etiquette and respect. This tradition has continued until today in karate-do and many other arts. A way to show respect, develop discipline and train the mind and body. Spirit over ego, acknowledgment of the importance of others and the group over the self. Continual discipline of the mind and development of spirit.
