24.01.2022 WATER!!!! One of the most important things (and often the one people struggle with - me included) when it comes to your health is making sure you drink enough water. There are so many benefits of drinking water with just some of them in this picture. So how much water should we be drinking? Most people would say about 2 litres or 8 cups a day, and while this is a good guideline to follow there are a few things you need to consider in how much you should be drinking. Weight is one of the major factors. The best way to figure out how much your body needs is to times your weight by 0.003 (so 70kg x 0.033=2.31 litres). This gives us a bit more of an accurate idea of how much we should be having. Struggling to drink enough? I find having a drink bottle near you at all (practical) times definitely helps!

24.01.2022 Baked beans for your tasty Tuesday recipe inspiration. Getting into the colder months there is nothing I like better then a bowl of baked beans. Unfortunately a lot of the store brought ones are packed full of sugar and hidden nasties. But it is super easy to make your own and another one you can do in a bit batch for the family or for the whole week. A do 3 cans of cannelloni beans, 1 cup of passata and 1 can of diced tomatoes, mix all together with some herbs (I use Italian herbs but you can use whichever ones you like) and anything else U like... I will occasionally add some bacon in . Cook through (about 5 minutes) and voila, you have baked beans. Delicious and warming... Perfect for these colder months (the recipe above makes 5 decent serves)

24.01.2022 #Mondaymotivation Happy 1st of June everybody. The day gyms open back in SA and I can not way to see all my beautiful clients in person. It is the 1st of new month and a Monday so this is a perfect time to hit restart if you have been feeling a bit unmotivated or to just keep going if you are already on track. You can do this! Let me know in the comment what your goals are for the week. Would love to hear them. Mine are to exercise at least 3 days this week and to drink minimum of 2.5 litres of water a day.

12.01.2022 Happy Tuesday everyone. Boy is it a cold one today here in the hills. So nothing better for tasty Tuesday then a soup. Soup has got to be one of my favourite meals especially in winter and served with some crusty bread There are so many different varieties you can make super quick and pack full of all the good stuff. Minestrone and pumpkin would have to be 2 of my favourite flavours. What's yours?
