24.01.2022 TENNIS IS BACK! We are excited to be back on court at the Mooloolaba Tennis Club club from Tuesday 5th of May! However we do have a few restrictions and not all play is back just yet.... Two player court hire is available every afternoon of the week from 2:30pm-6:30pm. We are also providing private lessons please email or message for availability. All court hire bookings are essential as we will have limited courts. Please be sure to read through information forms below. 21.01.2022 Wednesday Night Fixtures is starting up again on 17 June! Players play 2 sets of singles and 1 set of doubles each week with a pizza night on the last night of the season. This is a great setting to play fixtures tennis in a relaxed environment, and is suitable for players of all abilities. During Giselles ti...me working with Martina Navratilova, we got to see the impact contributing and giving back had on people, the environment and animals. Martina was always willing to donate her time or a financial contribution if it was something she believed in. We saw it daily with her, Giving back seemed to be a part of who she had become. 05.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS!!! Due to a sudden change in government restrictions in relation to the number of people allowed at a tennis venue at one time. We are shattered to inform you that we are only able to have 10 people at the Mooloolaba Tennis Club at any given time, this includes coaches and spectators. Private lessons will continue to operate as they have been for the past five weeks. All lessons will need to book back in for the five week block commencing Monday 25/05 through un...til the week ending Saturday 27/06. Unfortunately with these new restrictions Private lessons and court hires are all we can offer at this time. All parents will have to drop their children and stay in their car or outside the facility boundaries (courts). We will be blocking out court hire time slots to help us best manage these numbers and abide by the restrictions. Court hire is still available and can be booked by calling the pro shop on 5444 0033 We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately this is something that is out of our control. We acted upon an email from Tennis Queensland with consultation with the government approving the re-opening on Friday 15/05 for 10 people per court, sadly the government reviewed these restrictions and changed them to 10 people per facility on an email we received late Monday evening 18/05. We thank you again for your understanding and support through these tough times. We are trying our best to get everyone back on court as soon as possible.
