DairyBio is the best place to see how new innovations will deliver game-changing increases in pasture yield, persistence and quality. The tour will take place on Wednesday 3th July, 11am - 2pm. The next Farm Business Management ...Fundamentals course starts on the 8th of November at The Allansford Junction Hotel. This program provides participants with the skills to set up and use robust, accurate record keeping systems. The course will be presented by local farm consultant Angus Drummond. 05.01.2022 The three autumn Profitable Feeding Systems (PFS) field days were held last week. The days were a great success with over 120 farmers and service providers atte...nding in total. A massive thank you to Wilko & Louise Van Eck, Will & Mel McDonald and Lisa & Eddie Dwyer for opening their gates and allowing us access onto their farms. Being able to put the theory of the session into practice adds a great deal to the day and provides a point of interest to all of the attendees. In the video below pasture specialist Phil Shannon, who presented the three days, talks with extension officer Peter Gaffy about the key points covered in the autumn PFS session. They also look forward to the upcoming Feeding Pastures For Profit (FPFP) course that will commence this autumn.
