Exercise helps your digestive system by increasing blood fl...ow to all your organs, and also stimulates the muscles in your GI tract. Being sedentary, particularly as we age, is a major cause of constipation. Try your best to make exercise a regular part of your day and aim for 30-60minutes. If you work in a sedentary job try to limit how much time you spend sitting and break up your day with short bursts of movement.

Max of 10 ladies to each class. We will work on strengthening the core and pelvic floor while doing strength sessions, circuits and some boxing. 16.01.2022 KINK IN THE ROAD || One of the key characteristics of people who are able to maintain healthy lifestyle habits long-term is their attitude. Instead of thinking ...of a biscuit, glass of wine or chocolate as a failure, or end of the road, they simply accept that it is a little kink. Black and white or all or nothing thinking when it comes to food does not help you sustain healthy habits as it is driven by guilt. And guilt just leads to excess consumption. You can have a healthy lifestyle and still have room for things like a glass of wine or chocolate. But you have to change your attitude first.

14.01.2022 Welcome to the new KT women's health and fitness page. I've been working away to create a new service with the focus on my new found passion; Pre/Postpartum training & recovery . During my own rehabilitation process since Lila's birth, I've been studying the coursework & attained two certifications in Pre/Postpartum coaching, along with a Pain Free Performance Certification. Ive Applied the knowledge & skills i've learned from this, along with my own experience during the p...re/postpartum period to create programs to assist other women in safely staying active and rebuilding strength. I am now offering private sessions, mums and bub group classes and online programs to all pregnant and postpartum women. I will still however be running my 8 week bootcamps and private sessions for any ladies wanting to join. 13.01.2022 PRENATAL DEPRESSION AND DIETARY QUALITY DURING PREGNANCY || Maternal nutrition during pregnancy has a significant impact on the health of both bub and mum. A re...cent study investigated the relationship between prenatal depression and diet quality during pregnancy overall and by race/ethnicity and to explore the relationships between prenatal depression and diet. The study included 1,160 adult pregnant women. The results found that women with prenatal depression had nearly two times the odds of poor diet quality compared with women without prenatal depression. Women with prenatal depression had a higher consumption of empty calories from saturated fats, alcohol, and added sugars and a lower consumption of greens and beans and fruit compared with women without prenatal depression. These study findings suggest that women with prenatal depression are at a higher risk of poor diet quality compared with women without prenatal depression. Nutrition counselling interventions for women with depression should target limiting empty calories from saturated fats, alcohol, and added sugars and encourage eating more greens, beans, and fruit.

Often avoiding altogether pre & jumping back into intense exercise quickly post. Pre/Postpartum classes are now available to help take the stress away and guide you through whichever stage your at.
