24.01.2022 First Nations open mic comedy competition, Deadly Funny, is coming to Adelaide on Thursday 25 February. To participate, all you need is five minutes of funny material. I was alongside my husband, Punch Thompson, when he fought for the Land Rights Act. That was for Aangu and for all Aboriginal people across this country. We have a lot of sacred areas around this land, so we hold onto it. It is our home and it has been for generations. We belong to it. It speaks stories. ... Kelly and T'Keyah attended the launch of their artwork by Steven Marshall the Premier of South Australia for National NAIDOC Week 2020. The Royal Flying Doctor Service provides a valuable and lifesaving primary health care and 24-hour emergency service to people that live, work and travel across Australia.... Judged by a panel of art specialists, including Tarnanthi Artistic Director Nici Cumpston, the prize is open to Australian artists over the age of eighteen working in two-dimensional media. The Hadley's Art Prize is awarded to what the judges deem to be the best portrayal of the Australian landscape. Entries close Tuesday 6 April 2021.
