17.01.2022 Straight into 2012, quick and easy, like slipping into a pair of new business socks procured over the festive period... Thanks Mum. We spend the best part of 360 days building up to what is suppose to be the great pinnacle of every year, Christmas and New Years. A week. 7 days in December. It seems a touch unfair that we place so much expectation on such a small time period. A years worth of sweat and tears to be erased whilst watching the Boxing Day test. The resulting after...math of such expectation is something called the Great January comedown. However we shall meet this one as we have all the previous ones. With hope, positivity, and with whatever we have left in the tank. Good luck with 2012!

11.01.2022 So we move into December again... Christmas is just around the corner and a part of me wishes that Melbourne was situated in the northern hemisphere, somewhere in Alberta, Canada. This way we'd wake up knowing that after we consume breakfast, there'd be no need to subject ourselves to Larry Emdur, The Morning Show or any other breakfast program likely to inform us of what the weather may or may not do. Snow, more snow, and best of all, certainty, of snow. ... Melbourne, whats it going to be? As the Christmas spirits begins to infect even the most cynical of grinches We at Kudos are celebrating it with the usual gusto! Oversized decorations catching the gaze and admiration of professional window designers and the most Christmassy of things, a very generous Christmas hamper. We all love to win things, and such is the beauty of this time of year, that I can safely say that on Christmas Eve when the raffle is drawn, it will be a joy to see someone else win something... and that's what Christmas is all about... 10.01.2022 I saw a young woman running for the tram this morning with a plastic bag on her head, violin under her arm. I suppose her musical creativity has in some way developed her resourcefulness in other areas. As I watched from the west side of Murray Road, I thought to myself, if she stopped for a second, just long enough to silence the rustle of the bag she'd realize it wasn't even raining. I suppose the thought of being disciplined by her archaic maestro outweighed the inevitabl...e humiliation she would be subjected to on entering the tram. Perhaps she doesn't care what anyone thinks... Perhaps she's right to... I'd be lying if I said I contemplated yelling out to her with hair care recommendations, but as I reflect now, if I see her again, maybe I will. "Hey hasty girl, I know a great anti frizz product, works without the aid of non biodegradable grocery vessel." She probably wouldn't hear me anyway. That's something I think goes unsaid about the benefits of the green bag. Do your shopping in peace and quiet. Don't let the kids know you've come home with Double Choc Tim Tams, slip in through the back door. Ahh the green bag... Genius. P.S My commiserations to those who missed out on Radiohead tickets. I'll have enough fun for all of us.

However in life, we must all make exceptions, this being one of them. I propose that we, the people, construct an enormous clock. With the vigor and organization of that guy with the big boat and the animals and that. It will be powered by monkeys and criminals. It will be the most grandest piece of architecture since Season 3, Episode 6 of 'Grand Designs'. We will enlist Kevin MacCleod. I will meet him. He and i will discuss the progress, over tea. The clock will be completed, the time will diminish, and on the 16th of November 2012, the world will not end as predicted by the others.
