25.01.2022 Veggies being picked for the students at Moivaro school, a daily bucket of delicious vitamins that make our smiles wide. Thanks so much to our amazing Teacher, Jackie for sharing the picture

25.01.2022 Back to work today after a ten week hiatus! My hubbys long service leave allowed us to travel around the USA and Italy where I’ve learnt so much that will help Kufunza. A highlight was a visit to the United Nations so what better way to get back to work than some research into UN research opportunities.

24.01.2022 Brilliant news! Kiswahili has been vital to the stability of Tanzania economically and socially. Wouldn’t it be great to see this replicated across Sub Saharan Africa

21.01.2022 What a wonderful day for Kufunza today!! The kids at Manjimup Senior High School are supporting us in all sorts of ways and today they got stuck in on packaging greeting cards and art prints. The students were so diligent, learning how to package the products, how to check for quality control and packing over 500 products!! Doing this alone would have taken me over 5hrs so their assistance meant the The first package useing products they packed was in the post within an... hour of me leaving them so you can see how helpful they truely were! Thanks kids, can’t wait to see what we do next together. If you have know a school who might like to join in feel free to get in touch x

21.01.2022 This selfie was so much fun to take but minutes earlier I had been brought to tears by the scale of the work needed to be done to get their barren fields turned into a vegetable garden. But who can be sad with this many smiling kids around? So this is my #selfiesaturday taken to show our wonderful customers just who their purchases support. It’s not just about distant veggie gardens, it’s about laughter filled kids.

20.01.2022 I just can’t believe it’s been a whole year since we met these kids and started them on their garden journey!!

20.01.2022 How beautiful are these homes?

19.01.2022 Stunted growth is a worldwide problem. An old wives' tale about feeding babies could be stopping Indonesia's children from growing http://www.abc.net.au//indonesias-economy-grows-b/11809398

19.01.2022 Nothing we love more than pictures showing veggies moving into the kitchen!! Here’s a vitamin packed lunch for the kids at Irente School for the Blind!

15.01.2022 We couldn’t agree more!

13.01.2022 Cleaning out the veggie patch ready for some new plantings and got a lovely surprise with these ‘leftovers’!! Our tomatoes have been prolific this year and these little beauties were hiding in the undergrowth. What a treat to find green tomato recipes!

12.01.2022 Bombo school may be one of the friendliest places we’ve ever worked!

10.01.2022 I have massive Bok Choy envy!! The best thing about my job is receiving photos like this one from Kwembago School. The message with it was we are loving Kufunza. My message to the kids is we do nothing other than let you have a chance to grow, we love how hard you try

09.01.2022 Whoop whoop!!! Well done Hindustan!

07.01.2022 Fascinating day with the #africanprofessionalsofaustralia and #RegionsInternational with a conversation centred around ‘ Succeeding Beyond Boarders’. Love that we can participate in a conversation about the opportunities for East Africa.

05.01.2022 A year ago, wow what a year it’s been! So many cards sold, so many new stockists, so many gardens growing. Thanks for all of you continued support,it means the to us!

04.01.2022 This is such a complex issue but it’s wonderful to see governments starting to get involved in nutritional education. Imagine a world where stunted growth ceases to exist because people just know how to eat a varied diet and have affordable access to the food they need, a dream come true. With governments pushing to achieve it, that is a dream that can come true Why Africa should 'stop eating one of its favourite foods' https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-49714037

03.01.2022 Where has this year gone?!! Moivaro’s gardens are still growing strong

02.01.2022 Well done Peter Tabichi, you’re an inspiration! Kenyan science teacher Peter Tabichi wins global prize https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-47658803

01.01.2022 Schools back at Kwembago and plantings have started!! Our favourite sight
