23.01.2022 Liz pulling a new world record and Pb at the capo national deadlift comp at slaughter house gym on the weekend. #capopowerlifting #deadlift #sumo #strongwomen #deadlifttillimdead #teamkuipers

23.01.2022 So i just lost a bet with Luke and now I need to introduce him as an "athlete" Well this is were i struggle as i dont have anything positive to say about luke as an ''athlete''... So best i just be honest, Luke or OHH LUKE as he is affectionately known as, embodies what Teamkuipers is all about and always there for his team members. Luke has a big heart and a big smile always there for his team mates. When i was going through tough times Luke was there, house always open and snacks on the table, with a sympathetic ear. THANKS BRO. As for his lifting... Well.. ok its not as bad as we like to make out, besides his poverty bench, Luke is a decent deadlifter and an ok squatter :) luke has competed in 7 sanctioned comps and has a respectable 600kg total. December Deadlift only comp luke is aiming at a 280kg deadlift.

23.01.2022 70 years young deadlifting 150kg on her prep for capo deadlift comp on December 7th

22.01.2022 Teamkuipers longest well tallest member, Ryan or Lurch has the record for the longest grind i have ever witnessed, this was a 9 second deadlift from start to l...ockout, granted the bar has to travel a long way but really Ryan will be competing at the slaughterhouse deadlift comp in december and going for a more than double bodyweight deadlift. About a year of competing will see him add roughly 100kg to his deadlift if he pulls this one off. A solid effort for those pipe cleaner legs ;) See more

21.01.2022 Introducing the angriest lady on our team

20.01.2022 Loz pulling a 190kg @ 75kg breaking her existing national record at the capo national deadlift comp #deadlift #capopowerlifting #strongwomen #powerlifting #teamkuipers

18.01.2022 Opener for nationals sorted 280kg beltless because I’m getting fat

18.01.2022 I would like to introduce teamkuipers member Yvonne, vonnie or BIN CHICKEN, dont ask me how that one happened but anyway, yvonne is the epitome of a team member..., always supporting her team mates may it be the strongman comps or powerlifting meets Yvonne is not competeing in, Yvonne makes time and drags her poor hubby Callum Odell along who ends up loading plates for the organisers or taking videos for the athletes. Yvonne Odell came to me wanting to get a little stronger for the spartan race she was going to do in a couple months, sure, strength is what i do, running and climbing, definately not. 2 comps down and Yvonne is hoping to hit 100kg deadlift on december the 7th. Im sure poor Callum Odell will be there either loading the bar or taking videos.

17.01.2022 I would like to introduce our Pauline Magri or THE GOAT, Pauline had been training for 10 years when she stumbled accross teamkuipers in 2017. With a fair amount of crossfit under her belt Pauline was not new to strength sports, with a more than body weight deadlift of 80kg at 68 years young I thought we had a winner. 2 years and 12 comps down the line with over 25 national and 15 world records Pauline has earned the name of THE GOAT and still surprises me with her continues ...strength gains. Decembers capo deadlift only comp see's Pauline prepping for a 160kg Deadlift, this will be double bodyweight at 70 years young. Between wrapped and raw Pauline has a combined total of best lifts of 300kg, putting it all together in a single comp is one of Paulines long term goals. The Goat is an inspiration to all who believe age should be a restricting factor in strength sports.

16.01.2022 Some trainings for wrpf nationals Squat ssq bar 265 for 5 Bench 180 for 4 Deadlift sumo 260 for 5 Steamy head for putting the works in on a cold night

16.01.2022 I’m so proud of Liz Blackthorn Jessica Xuereb and Sinead Martin who competed at the cbfitness strongman comp on the weekend. Sinead Martin finished first with ...a convincing win, even though she missed her weight category by 1kg making her have to compete in the category above her usual weight category. Liz Blackthorn placed second after a mishap where Liz threw her second stone completely off the barrel and then having to run around to re load it wasting valuable time. Liz had a phenomenal van pull in 25 seconds. Jessica Xuereb as usual just went berserk, and attacked the events with total disregard. Where as Liz lost first place on stones Jess gained a third spot by putting in a lightning performance. This was a really well run comp and can’t wait to attend more comps run by the cb fitness crew. As usual thanks to the team Kuipers members who came down to support their team mates Lauren Tyrrell Luke Pantalleresco Alison Brown Yvonne Odell Mel Baldacchino Anton Johnson Linda Sujantik Enjoy some great pics by Anthony Rogers photography

13.01.2022 I would like to introduce powerlifter, strongwoman and one of the most geniune souls I have ever had the pleasure of training. Sinead Martin Shenay-nay, came to... me wanting to do a body transformation, not too long into our training I realised this is one strong lady, think of dyanamite, Shenay-nay took to powerlifting effortlessly, quick learner and dedicated. After her first 3 lift meet it was onto strongwoman and again she picked this up at lighting speed. Come December 7th at the CAPO deadlift only comp, Shenay-nay will be going for a massive 145-150kg deadlift at 64kg bodyweight, her last comp pb was 100kg deadlift. See more

12.01.2022 With the CAPO deadlift only competition just around the corner, I would like to take the next few weeks introducing our team members. Obviously first off we have Lauren Tyrrell, Loz or as we all have come to call her, PERFECT... Perfect is a mum of three and a damn powerfull athlete with multiple national records and a world record in deadlift with a best deadlift of 192.5kg @ 75kg body weight. PERFECT has been competing since 2017 with Team Kuipers and in that time Perfect has cometed in 10 sanctioned competitions with 7 first places in the open division.Besides lifting heavy, raising 3 girls and working as a medical response, Perfect is an avid selfie taker Next on Perfects bucket list is the illusive 200kg deadlift. December the 7th at slaughterhouse melbourne is when she will be pushing the boundaries of her deadlift
