25.01.2022 Can you tell I’m excited... Just like that my work year is over and I’m now on Maternity Leave ! This mumma to be,could not be more relieved. It’s time to put my feet up and enjoy this next chapter. I have no definite re- open dates as I’m going to simply enjoy time with my little one. ... Please note that I have a full client list for when I start some hours again in salon. So at this stage I won’t be taking on any new clients for 2020. I would love to say a massive Thankyou to all of my wonderful clients for your support throughout 2019 and your excitement for our little bubba. Thankyou for your patience and understanding while I’ve worked my best through this busy Christmas period aswell. I truly appreciate it. From my first day in beauty school I knew I wanted to own my own business. After a lot of hard work and determination later, to be celebrating, welcoming in our 9th year operating is truly amazing. 19.01.2022 Hi guys... At this stage I will be closed indefinitely until the government removes the restrictions due to the ongoing crisis with the corona virus. I also will not be working until I feel safe to do so. I was hopeful to be back at work soon after my maternity leave finished, however health and safety are far more important. My little family are choosing to self isolate unless needing supplies. We believe this is necessary to help stop the spread and protect those most vuln...erable. You can still purchase stock if your needing your favourites. Process will be a bank transfer, then you can pick up your products from the back of my mail box. This is expected for the next two weeks with the current covid cluster.... For safety reasons no extras will be permitted to enter, not only my salon , but my home. Working from a private home I have my young family to consider. This applies to children. So please make the necessary arrangements for care during your appointment. If you are comfortable, please bring and wear a mask during your appointment. If you are feeling unwell, have associated with someone unwell, please reschedule your appointment. I’ve been very open and honest with my clients re- the repercussions of using store bought products, when your wanting a chemical service , like a professional colour. It has come to my attention by others in my industry, of a brand causing some very serious and nasty chemical reactions. ... With being closed the last 6 months, a lot of Iso hair colouring happening, I’ve made the decision to introduce a new Client Consultation form that all colour clients will need to fill in and sign prior to any chemical service. Unfortunately not all clients are open and honest about the products they have used on their hair. As such there will be a disclaimer at the bottom that I ask all to sign. Indicating they are aware of the risks should they proceed with a chemical service without having used professional products beforehand. As a hairdressing community, store shampoos have been causing too many chemical reactions of late. The product range ‘Monday’s’ pictured is the most recent to be doing the rounds. Let me put it simply, if your willing to pay the $$$ for fashion colouring services like balayage, you should use the appropriate after care products.
