And since I had already booked my flight to Sri Lanka, visiting the project was a given. I just finished my volunteering week and I must say it was an amazing experience! At the Elephant Freedom Project there is absolutely no riding and mistreatment ...of elephants. You help out with all sorts of stuff, meet amazing people and learn sooo much about elephants!
