23.01.2022 | QLD AND NSW UPDATE | ACA continues to work closely with the Queensland Government to finalise our COVID Safety Plan. ACA will now begin to work with the N...ew South Wales Government to prepare a COVID Safety Plan. Relevant plans and documentation will be uploaded to the ACA website, under the COVID-19 tab, when available. We cannot just yet, answer all of your queries regarding a return to campdrafting in this uncertain time. We are taking all possible steps to allow committees to resume holding events, and for members to attend, as soon as possible. It would be premature to make any final decisions regarding the allocation of points right now. ACA expect to have some clarity regarding the resumption of campdrafting by early August, at which stage, our Management Committee will meet in Roma to discuss how to proceed with points. 20.01.2022 Happy new year Well it's that time of year to get back into Campdraft planning. We are going to have a work bee next SUNDAY 10th of January starting at 8am with a BBQ lunch at 11:30am followed with our AGM and general meeting after that. 14.01.2022 A message from Codie Law - NCCA President, Recently, the Northern Territory government announced a 3 Phase plan to lift restrictions. Each Phase clearly outline...s which activities will be permitted and the guidelines aligned to these. Accordingly, the NCCA met recently and have agreed to allow the relevant Associations to begin planning for a return to Campdrafting in the NT. The Associations will liaise directly with NT committees for campdraft events to begin again in June for NT residents only. It is our plan, that as each State or Territory makes changes, the relevant Association advise their committees of new time frames and requirements for running events post COVID 19. I encourage all Campdraft members to be patient and to strictly adhere to guidelines put in place in each State and the hosting committees.
