10.01.2022 *SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT* On behalf of Kumiai Ryu Martial Arts System, it is with great honour and much pleasure, I wish to announce that Kaicho Kevin Blundell has been awarded the Rank of Ninth Degree Black Belt Kudan and from this day forward holds the new Title of HANSHI in both Kempo Kai Karate and Kumiai Ryu Martial Arts System. I wish to congratulate Hanshi for all his tireless work, not only for KRMAS, but to the wider martial arts community both here and internationall...y. He is a teacher of the highest quality which shows in the high standing KRMAS has worldwide. I would also like to take this opportunity to personally congratulate him, I can honestly say, his vision way back in 1989, when he started KRMAS, set in motion something that would change my life. I have travelled around the world, trained with some of the world’s best martial artists and have become lifelong friends with many. To me KRMAS has become my second family. It has all be made possible by his teachings. Thank You!! Could all dojo instructors please inform all of their students of this grading and title change. From everyone at Kumiai Ryu, congratulations Kaicho Kevin Blundell Hanshi OSU See more
