20.01.2022 When our students encounter a new problem, concept or challenge, they have a go by themselves first. They study the examples, draw on previous learning and have... the confidence to try. They try, then think some more, and try again so they can answer the question with confidence. They come to expect the challenge of a difficult problem and the joy of discovering something new for themselves. They learn no problem is ever too difficult to attempt to solve.

11.01.2022 Kumon is a home-based learning method which is effective because of the partnership between parents, Instructor and the student. In this video, the student is reading aloud to his Mum so she can listen to his fluency and expression. This gives the student’s Mum the opportunity to guide him by saying, Try that one again. This interaction gives the student confidence to keep going and prevents mistakes from becoming a habit. Kumon Instructors will provide worksheets for home study for the duration of Stage 3 Stay at Home restrictions. When picking up worksheets, parents and students will be required to wear a face mask or face covering.
