These notices are one of many measures we have implemented in Kumon centres to contribute to the health and safety of the community, while supporting our students to keep on learning. 18.01.2022 Kumon is a home-based learning method which is effective because of the partnership between parents, Instructor and the student. In this video, the student is reading aloud to his Mum so she can listen to his fluency and expression. This gives the student’s Mum the opportunity to guide him by saying, Try that one again. This interaction gives the student confidence to keep going and prevents mistakes from becoming a habit. Yewon is tackling the equivalent Grade 4 English level and also completing the Grade 3 equivalent Maths subject.
