22.01.2022 Dear parents, You may be aware that this afternoon, The Australian Government announced that all non-essential activities in venues are restricted to one person per every four square metres. This includes Kumon Centres and the number of people permitted inside the venue will include staff and students.... As a result, there can only be 12 students inside our centre at any one time. I am aware this is short notice, but we must comply with these restrictions. Considering this, we would recommend that most students collect worksheets to complete at home. I will get in touch with you and your child to organise to support you remotely, outside of class and make ongoing arrangements. Alternatively, you can attend class and if we have reached our capacity; You and your child can wait until there is an available spot. You can write down the name of your child and contact number and we will call you when a space is available. We will arrange for you to attend the centre at another time. Again, I apologise for the short notice, but the health of your children is our biggest priority. I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.

19.01.2022 Continuous Learning with Kumon No doubt we have had a trying couple of months with COVID-19 and lockdown, its natural for children to assume that when school stops so does everything else. After weeks of mental inactivity your child can lose a great a great deal of knowledge and may experience getting back into normal learning routines. Following are some tips for making the holiday learning time successful. 1. Maintaining regular study over the holidays will help your child... to hit the ground running when they return to school. 2. Have a set time to complete worksheets. 3. Try to do a regular amount of Kumon each day. 4. In Kumon, developing strong daily study habits is a core principal of the Kumon method. Some families like to study extra worksheets so that students can make even greater progress. 5. Attend the centre over the holidays, if u cannot make arrangements to collect the worksheets. 6. Remember to praise your child each day for doing their work. Last class day will be 29th of June. Over the holidays classes will be held only once a week on Mondays 6th and 13th of July 3 to 5pm. Please dont hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any queries. Regards, Indrani

03.01.2022 Dear Kumon Parent and Students, We are happy to announce that from Monday 15th June onwards, the centre will be reopening for classes with a few minor changes to accommodate the current environment. New centre procedures:... Students will be required to wash/sanitise their hands upon arrival. Students who present any symptoms of a cold or flu will be required to collect their work. The sharing of equipment is no longer allowed. All students are reminded to bring along two pencils and one eraser for class. Classes will be limited to 8 students at any one time. Parents are welcome to drop off/pick up students from the centre but are asked not to wait inside the building. Parents are asked to be considerate of others and to arrive for their classes on time. If we have a situation where we have more than 8 students at the centre, students will be asked to wait outside respecting social distancing rules, until a place becomes available. This situation should not occur if the time slots are followed. For parents who wish to continue to pick up work for 1-4 weeks please contact Shirley. It is a requirement for Kumon to maintain an attendance record of students. This will assist public health with contact tracing in the event of positive COVID-19 on the premises. In accordance with this requirement there will be a sign-in sheet. We wish to thank you for all of your support with the childrens education during the last couple of months and look forward to welcoming them back to the centre. Regards Indrani
