22.01.2022 Awards 2020 Every year in November for the past 20 years Kumon Gungahlin has held an award ceremony to recognise the achievements of all of our students. It’s a huge event full of excited students and their proud families.... This year is different due to COVID restrictions on gatherings. Families have already been notified about the award your child will receive this year. These awards are based on levels achieved by September 30. This year our awards will be presented to our students in their COVID safe Kumon class during the last week of November. 2020 has been a challenge for all of us. We are so very proud of our students achievements, which this year demonstrate amazing resilience and extraordinary family support. Congratulations Fingers crossed we will be able to gather again next year.

The consistency of Kumon’s step by step approach to individual learning means that every child can achieve despite previous gaps in their learning and perhaps missing months of school. The strengths and advantages of Kumon have been highlighted over this unusual year and I am very proud that we at Kumon Gungahlin have been able to adapt and thrive and continue to educate our students with passio...n and enthusiasm. 02.01.2022 You won’t recognise us! Long term students and parents of Kumon Gungahlin may not recognise the centre in its current COVID safe set up. Because of current health rules for a business with a premises of our size we still cannot allow parents in to the centre. We still have to have large spaces between students and we are still restricted with the number of students we can accomodate in the centre for each class.... Rules have changed in the past week for larger premises but small shops like ours are still heavily restricted. We will continue to work within these rules to keep everyone safe.
