25.01.2022 What’s possible with Kumon? Sophia Z is in Kindergarten this year and is studying at the Year 5 level with the Kumon English program. It really is amazing to see what is possible with consistent targeted practice and the determination of students, parents and staff together. ... 23.01.2022 In line with the latest health advice we are ready to assist students and parents who may need to isolate and remain at home. Please let us know via text or email if you need to isolate at home so we can work out delivery of work and remote study options over the next few weeks. We will continue to keep physical distancing, reduced contact time, hand sanitizing and cleaning of the centre for the safety of students and staff. ... 16.01.2022 At Kumon Hurstville we look forward to supporting students to have a bright year in 2021 with our Instructor-supported, home-based maths and English programmes. Help your child have a bright 2021- we are enrolling all summer long! Kumon Hurstville will be taking a short break over Christmas- last class day December 18 and our first day back will be January 4. Students enrolled will be given work to cover the break.

13.01.2022 Two years ago Abigail and her mum came to us from Kumon overseas. It has been a privilege and a lot of fun to see her progress to advanced work from her time as a preschooler to now as a confident Year 1 student. We will miss her as she moves interstate but we know her next Kumon instructor will take great care of her and she can seamlessly continue her Kumon journey. ... 13.01.2022 Important Updates: - if you have visited the latest COVID case locations please let us know via text or email so we can work out home delivery options and remote learning support to keep up your child's progress.https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates - School Holiday Closure Dates- for staff training and to deep clean the centre we will close for one week during the school holidays... Last class day: Thursday April 1 First class day open: Friday April 9 Students will be given work to cover the closure period as normal. If you want more or less work please let us know at least a day in advance so we can prepare it. - Creative Kids Vouchers- we are now approved for our English program so please send us your voucher details and child's date of birth for verification and we can apply it towards your future fees. Lastly we have some exciting news about a long time Kumon student who has kept up his practice throughout the ups and downs of 2020 and has completed the maths program- we will feature more news in the future.

12.01.2022 Why do we do what we do? Yesterday we saw another lightbulb moment as Zachary X, a Kindergarten student, figured out vertical subtraction for himself. We also helped get another long term student back on track and motivated to keep pushing on through Level D in maths revising all the concepts needed for Long Division.... The end of the year is already here so it's natural for students to hit a wall- please text or email us so we know how your child is going so we can adjust their work accordingly and keep them on their 'just right' level.
12.01.2022 Have a great long weekend! We will be closed Monday 5 October for the public holiday but we’ll be back as usual from Tuesday onwards.
12.01.2022 Happy Easter- just a reminder we are closed and will reopen Friday 9 April as normal. Students have extra work to cover until they come back but get in touch if they need more or are getting stuck at home. Please text 0435 532 025 that you’re outside and ready so we can send your child out to you. This helps us reduce the contact and congestion in our front room. Please also only bring students at their designated time as we can only have a limited number of students in the centre at a time. ...
