22.01.2022 Kumon FAQs: How can parents support their children's Kumon study?
22.01.2022 Self-learning is the set of skills and capabilities that allow one to pursue learning independently and to acquire new knowledge, without having to rely on a teacher. As students make progress through Kumon Maths and English, they develop the ability to self-learn. Self-learning allows Kumon students to continue learning independently, even during uncertain times.
21.01.2022 Kumon FAQs: What is the reason behind Kumons easy starting point?
20.01.2022 To encourage students to ready widely and develop a love of reading, the Kumon English worksheets contain more extracts from published texts than any other reading programme in the world.
20.01.2022 I think its about time I gave a little self-introduction. My name is Hiranya. I was born in India and after getting married moved to Australia. In my time here, I have had a wide range of career experiences from customer service to coaching and training. During this time, I realized, if an individual is given the right support through early coaching and training, they can go on to achieving their goals. I decided to start my own Kumon centre after seeing the positive impact... Kumon had on my nieces and nephews. It helped them to grow into independent, self-learning individuals with very positive and open minds. When I saw the opportunity to open a centre here in Ipswich last year, I made the decision to move up from Melbourne to follow my dream. The most important thing to me is that a child enjoys learning. That they develop a mindset of self-determination, and experience the satisfaction of achieving their goals. This is something I strive every day to develop in my Kumon students. With the right skills and mindset, there is no limit to how far a child can go in life. Feel free to give me a call anytime if youd like to know how Kumon can support your child. You can like my page to stay up to date with whats happening with our centre and students. See more

12.01.2022 Kumon Maths and English are flexible, pencil-and-paper programmes. As Alina is demonstrating in this photo, Kumon students can take their worksheets anywhere. They can pick up a pencil, read, think, write, and use an eraser to correct their errors. Chen, Alinas mum, says through study of the Kumon worksheets, division is now easy for Alina and that her English comprehension ability has also improved. Well done Alina!
11.01.2022 Kumon helps students to acquire fundamental knowledge and skills in maths and English. This supports students to continue to make progress with their learning, both inside and outside of school.
10.01.2022 "To support the introduction of the new QCE system, QCAA redeveloped and revised its suite of senior syllabuses to... prepare students for the 21st century by giving them the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to participate successfully in the economy and broader community and thrive in a complex and rapidly changing world." This is an exciting goal to be working towards. Hopefully the new QCE system will deliver stronger learning outcomes for our senior students.
09.01.2022 Kumon is essentially a home based learning program, where, the children visit the centre twice a week and study at home for the balance of five days. During these uncertain times, also, Kumon works very well.

05.01.2022 When our students encounter a new problem, concept or challenge, they have a go by themselves first. They study the examples, draw on previous learning and have the confidence to try. They try, then think some more, and try again so they can answer the question with confidence. They come to expect the challenge of a difficult problem and the joy of discovering something new for themselves. They learn no problem is ever too difficult to attempt to solve.
