08.01.2022 We look forward to welcoming our families back at our Kumon Centre as restrictions have begun to ease. We are lucky to be able to slowly return to normality in South Australia due to our diligent cooperation with health authority instructions. We are now again offering face-to-face learning at Kumon Magill and would love to welcome our old students and hear from new ones as well! We would like to reassure families that our Kumon centre has implemented physical distancing and hygiene measures. Kumon Magill Centre will still operate, however we are encouraging a home-based study program for the time being. This is to comply with health authority advice and government regulations. ... Worksheets can be provided from our centre so your childs learning is not interrupted. We will also provide an opportunity for students to ask questions regarding their worksheets. Kumon is traditionally a home-based, pencil and paper programme. It is designed for students to study at home every day on their own. It is ideal for extended periods at home. For a short time, every day, no calculator, no keyboard, no screen, no high-speed internet connection necessary. Students take out their worksheets, pick up a pencil, read, think, write, and use an eraser to correct their errors. Continued daily worksheet study at home will ensure that disruption to your childs progress and learning is minimised. 04.01.2022 WIth Kumon at home, it is important that students maintain a daily routine. A good way to achieve this is to set aside a time everyday for Kumon. We recommend 30 minutes per subject per day, but we understand that every child is different so try and find a time that works for you!
