17.01.2022 Self-learning is the set of skills and capabilities that allow one to pursue learning independently and to acquire new knowledge, without having to rely on a teacher. As students make progress through Kumon Maths and English, they develop the ability to self-learn. Self-learning allows Kumon students to continue learning independently, even during uncertain times.

01.01.2022 When our students encounter a new problem, concept or challenge, they have a go by themselves first. They study the examples, draw on previous learning and give it a try. They try, and try again, until they are finally able to solve the problem. Students come to expect the challenge of a difficult problem and the joy of discovering something new for themselves. They learn no problem is ever too difficult to attempt to solve.
