21.01.2022 This is certainly a concerning report! But we know that Kumon students successfully develop their fundamental literacy and numeracy skills through our mathematics and reading programmes. Numeracy & literacy are the building blocks for later learning. https://theconversation.com/one-quarter-of-australian-11-12
20.01.2022 We wish for all families who are celebrating Diwali today to enjoy a bright and joyous day!

18.01.2022 With only a few weeks left of the year, now is the time to stay motivated, push yourself a little more to achieve your 2020 goals before summer holidays! As challenging as this year has been, let's leave 2020 proud of all we've accomplished! We help our students develop a 'can do' attitude and help them take control and pride in their own learning. Kumon students know the benefits of trying and trying again and learn to enjoy new challenges and reaching new goals. What does your child want to be proud of in 2021?
17.01.2022 Happy Fibonacci Day!
16.01.2022 Kumon helped me to build self-confidence, persistence, and consistency. It taught me to maintain a routine and disciplined life. Zarif, 10-years-old, studying Kumon Mathematics and English five years ahead of his school grade.

14.01.2022 Indigenous Australians have the oldest oral stories, the oldest living languages, and the oldest continuing culture on the planet. Kumon North Lyneham recognises the First Nations peoples who, for over 65,000 years, have occupied and cared for the land in which we live, and upon which Kumon learning centres and offices sit today. We see you. We hear you. #NAIDOC2020
13.01.2022 The Kumon English worksheets develop a high level of reading comprehension ability. To inspire students to read widely, the worksheets contain more extracts from published texts than any other reading programme in the world.
12.01.2022 At Kumon, worksheets are matched to current ability. The most advanced students are extended and the least advanced supported. Each student makes progress at their own pace, not bound by age and school grade.
10.01.2022 Did you know students as young as three can start Kumon? We have a 1-1 support area for our littlest students so we can provide the most supportive care while they’re in the centre. If you’ve been thinking about Kumon, contact us to book your child in for a free assessment!
10.01.2022 Getting the most out of Kumon can sometimes feel like an impossible task for busy families. There's doing the work, getting it marked, doing corrections and doing the google sheets! However, each of these parts of the Kumon routine are vital to maximising your child's success. But how are parents supposed to do it all? The answer, is that you're not! Help children become involved in their own Kumon and build those independent skills we're always talking about by giving them... small, manageable tasks that are appropriate for their age and level of responsibility. Have your children help with marking by having them do it at home just like we do in class and just check it over when they're done. Get them to help out by doing other age appropriate household chores while you update their google sheet on your phone quickly and easily. Read these tips if you need more ways to help build independence in your child. https://www.verywellfamily.com/encourage-independence-in-yo
