This is a key indicator Kumon Instructors use to have more insight on your childs learning, even while your child studies at home. 10.01.2022 We help students build strong foundations for future learning! A little effort each day goes a long way! At Kumon, children come to see challenges, mistakes and the need to exert effort as opportunities. They are not afraid to have a go. Such students are confident with their learning and are set for a rich academic life.

10.01.2022 My son Bryn is still enjoying the benefits of Kumon, he is now 33. Bryn started doing Kumon while he was at primary school. We found the programme a wonderful a...ssett in his learning. Bryn has Downs Syndrome and we found that at school all we were getting were his limitations, whereas in Kumon everything was focussed on his achievements. Bryn responded so well to this style of learning. One of his favourite things was to get the Kumon flash cards and copy them out into his notebook, he is still doing this today, some 25 years later. I dont know that it has improved his writing, (Bryn has very poor eyesight and "fine motor" skills), but I do know that his writing has not deteriorated over the years, which is something that probably would have happened. It has certainly enhanced his reading skills, which are very good, he is a voracious reader, and it has also helped him develop a good study ethic. Learning is such a basic part of our childrens development, and enjoyment during learning is essential, along with the sense of achievement when successful. I would recommend Kumon to anyone, but particularly for our children that face additional challenges. Our Bryn fondly remembers Patsy all these years later, and our Family is grateful for the way that she encouraged and praised our child, as Im sure she did with all her other students. See more
