As you already know, the Kumon Method emphasises the importance of daily study at home and during this uncertain time, we continue to focus on this. Listed below are some of the benefits your child can experience through maintaining daily Kumon study:... Having long breaks from study means that children can sometimes require additional support to get back into their study routine. However, completing an appropriate amount of work daily is an effective way for your child to not only keep up with school work, but to also excel and advance in their studies. The daily work set for your child is individualised and set at just the right level of difficulty to maximise academic progress. Your child will receive regular individualised feedback from their Instructor and from this, the work set can be altered to meet your child’s needs. Through daily Kumon study, your child will continue to be an independent learner. This sense of routine also fosters effective study habits and a positive attitude to study. As your Instructor, I will always ensure that plenty of work is set for your child - there are several flexible methods available to ensure that work is successfully delivered to students. Consistent and daily practice can make all the difference when it comes to keeping the brain active during this time. It is an opportunity for your child to build their confidence, develop the ability to study proactively, and become equipped with fundamental study skills before schools eventually re-open.
