24.01.2022 The Kunawarritji junior rangers have been learning about GPS - how to record the coodinates and what they are used for. Each student was given a map with the na...mes of a number of rockholes, and using their new GPS skills they took it in turns to mark a waypoint and tell the class these numbers which everyone wrote on their map. The students also checked coordinates rangers had taken earlier in the week while out ground truthing rockholes close to community. See more
