21.01.2022 It's Friday and that's not the only good news! We are excited to announce that The Community Garden (Kitchen) have been successful in our recent, Horizon Power Community Parnership Grant application! Part of the funding will be allocated to enviro friendly packaging for the free Sunday feeds! This is fantastic news for us, and the environment!... A heartfelt thank you to Horizon Power for acknowledging our hard work, for listening to the Community feedback about what we do, and supporting the sustainability of a really important grass-roots community group.

20.01.2022 Another beautiful young Mum with Bub receiving a Share the Dignity bag distributed to OVAHS by the Community Kitchen. A couple more handed out on the street today, as well as womens bags to a group of teens. It was a pleasure to watch them move to the shade, sit down and explore all the goodies in the bags - like young women should have opportunity to do. Priceless :)

14.01.2022 Another surprise delivery to Ord Valley Health Service yesterday. Delivering more Share The Dignity bags for distribution to young women, women, and Mums 'n Bubs. A big thanks to Jenni and the team for taking some to young women at Jasmin Lane and for others in need in our local communities. Big thanks to Share The Dignity for sending us up more bags - keep them coming! They brighten days, bring smiles and are gifts of value to very worthy women. #gratitude

13.01.2022 Sending a big heartfelt congratulations to Dr Miriam-Rose Ungunmerr Baumann AM for being awarded Senior Australian of the Year. I, as undoubtedly others here in Kununurra, have sat with Miriam in Daly River to learn more about Dadirri and this deep contemplation with nature and our inner 'spring'. She said to me those four years ago, when I had first arrived here, "Be available to them." For me personally, that meant be available to community, be open hearted, transparent and available to learn, grow and build strong relationships together, based on trust, connection and heart. We still, to this day, take this message into all we do. Well deserved Miriam. Big love and gratitude.
