25.01.2022 ATTENTION PARKRUNNERS- NOTE THIS IS NOT A CANCELLATION DUE TO THE INCLEMENT WEATHER (AS AWESOME AS IT IS ...) , AND LOTS OF WATER AS A REULT , WE HAVE HAD TO REVIEW THE COURSE FOR TOMORROWS EVENT. THE EVENT WILL STILL TAKE PLACE AT SWIM BEACH ! BUT WE MAY NEED TO USE OUR ALTERNATE COURSE .( AKA THE MOON EXPERIENCE COURSE] . ... WE WILL NOT KNOW UNTIL TOMORROW MORNING SO PLEASE JUST KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THE PARKRUN FLAGS TO FIND US :)

Did you know? - Kununurra parkrun started on 28th April 2018. - Since then 685 participants have completed 3,251 parkruns covering a total distance of 16,255 km, including 603 new Personal Bests! ... - A total of 90 individuals have volunteered 587 times. We are so proud to be part of this great community event

SO.... what we would like to do is ask you to SHOW US YOUR PARKRUN SOCIAL DISTANCE SELFIE <3...getting out there will keep you feeling well and fit and feeling normal in these crazy times. 06.01.2022 Good Morning park runners and Community members -We have been advised this morning by parkrun Australia that ALL events across the country have been cancelled with regards to the Covid-19 Coronavirus. At this stage it is until the end of March, there is a possibility that it could be extended. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you, we want you to look after yourself and those around you and in your community and we look forward to seeing you again once the threat has passed <3

No one can stop you from using the parkrun course for your daily dose of exercise, we just need to be mindful of the health and safety of yourselves and others. The course is not Closed , just parkrun events cancelled... so Go, run, walk, bike, pram .... just be safe xx
