24.01.2022 The Final Kunyung Vibe for 2020... what an awesome final week - Year 6 Graduation, Class parties, Kris Kringle, Teacher’s vs Students Dodgeball, Gravity Zone, Christmas Movies, lunch with buddies, final assembly and 2021 Student Leaders announced KPS Staff enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch to finish the term this afternoon Wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas with their families and a safe and Happy New Year ... We look forward to seeing you all in 2021

21.01.2022 Seaside Scavenge is back, this time in McCrae! At this fun event, the litter you collect is used as a currency to purchase second-hand clothes, goods and eco-friendly products provided by wise wise local community members and businesses. Yep, the trash you collect from the surrounding area becomes 'ca$h', because waste is made of valuable resources - not something that should just be thrown away!... There will be live music throughout the day from awesome local acts Velvet Bloom and Erin, Nick and Tony from Soundbar! The friendly faces from Waste Wise Peninsula, Peninsula Plants, Dolphin Research Institute, Sea Shepherd Australia and Boomerang Bags amongst others will all be there. Lions Club will be serving up a delicious BBQ with meat and vegetarian options available along with Jetty Road Brewery to quench your scavenging thirst and delicious gelato will be served as well. 15.01.2022 Year 6 Graduation is always a time that is both incredibly sad (for us saying farewell) but incredibly exciting for students and families who are ready to move on! Last night our Year 6 students demonstrated what fine young people they have matured into and how ready they are to leave us for the slightly bigger world of Secondary College! It was so lovely for them to be able to celebrate with family, teachers and friends.....and so lovely for us to be able to li...sten to so many of them confidently speak, receive their certificates & awards, sing and just be genuinely happy!!!! Thank you to all who attended the event, to our Year 6 Teaching Team who put in so much time to ensure the evening was a success (and for being incredibly flexible in the lead up planning!) and to our students for being Superstars! We wish every single one of them every success in 2021 and beyond! We will miss you but as we said last night 'Once a Kunyung Kid....always a Kunyung Kid!!' Thank you Miss Townsend for the photos!!

After over a decade, of many Kunyung students and parents really wanting our school to go Solar, we are very excited to announce that we finally have panels installed and operating through the school. This has come from our successful 2020 Greener Government School Grant application and it also supports our Resource Smart journey!

To finish off 2020 we are having a very special WHOLE SCHOOL LIVE ASSEMBLY @ 2.10pm tomorrow! 06.01.2022 The Kunyung Vibe...what a great, fun week it has been! Our students and teachers have continued to smile and work hard even though the end of year tiredness has started to creep in! The Prep and Junior Athletics day was a hit today! The students displayed amazing team work as they enthusiastically cheered each other on! Thank you to our sporty Mr Heath Gibson for organising such a wonderful event.
