25.01.2022 A Snapshot of our 3rd week

25.01.2022 A snapshot of our week We have vacancies! Child Care Subsidy applies. Please contact us for a ‘walk through’ or email us for more information: [email protected]

25.01.2022 We are in the process of building our School Holiday Program! As our service is in it’s infancy we will be keeping ourselves busy ‘on campus’. (No excursions) I’ve heard that there is a missing Pirates Treasure and Clues will ‘appear’ daily to locate the missing Jewels! I’m led to believe when the treasures are finally returned, that there are rewards for locating said treasure! We will also be getting creative in the ‘Studio’! If interested please email with days/da...tes and session types to: [email protected] *CCS applies to sessions for those eligible, though CCS approval will have to be in place before the holidays commence. Enrolments into the service under CCS law must be submitted before the first session of care so bookings in advance are essential. Full Day Session $60 7am-6pm 5 hour session $40 (9am-2pm) (so that the program can run to schedule) Morning and afternoon tea provided - children to bring their own lunch.

20.01.2022 Ok possibly more than a snapshot of our week ...

16.01.2022 A little snapshot of our second week

13.01.2022 With our new Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program about to commence, we would like to introduce the new program coordinator, Allyson Sheppard. Allyson is a local Kuranda lady, and she not only has the experience and skill set for the role, but we were blown away with the passion and enthusiasm she has in wanting to make this program both enjoyable and successful, and we can't wait for all the kids and families to meet her! Allyson will be available for a meet and greet t...he week before school starts, we are just finalising a few details and we will post more form dates and times soon. Along with Allyson, we also have 3 of our existing teacher aides that will help out at various times. Miss Maureen, Miss Wendy and Mr Kenny, who are all much loved and well known to KDSC kids, and will assist in making this new venture a smooth and comfortable transition for all involved. Here's to a fantastic 2020!!

09.01.2022 Week 7 and 8 so much to see! Look what our busy little bees have been up to!

08.01.2022 Today’s little visitors have helped me start our ‘Wish List’! We are welcoming Noah and Caylem! I am here today until 3.00pm and tomorrow 8.00am to 3.00pm please feel welcome to pop in and say hi

07.01.2022 A glimpse of our first week ‘post Covid’. We are happy be back to the normal system that will alow us to pick up where we left off.... getting our little service up and running ... A big thanks to all of our families for your support through last terms complications. The good news is we are still here and ready to finish the year on a good note. We have vacancies, as unfortunately many families have experienced changes in work due to Covid. Am sessions (7-8.30am) are a lovely way for the children to start their day rather than waiting on the bench outside the office if they arrive well before school starting at 8.30am. Pm sessions (2.35-6pm) also have some vacancies. This is a particularly popular session as not many working parents finish work by 2.35pm. Child Care Subsidy applies to eligible families. Feel welcome to arrange to ‘pop in’ for a look around if you are wondering what our service is all about Want to know more? Email: [email protected]

06.01.2022 Week 3 done! Where is time going! Look what we’ve been up to this week. It’s lots of fun! We have vacancies! [email protected] for more info

05.01.2022 A little ‘Snapshot’ of our first week

02.01.2022 We are ready! Looking forward to meeting everyone already enrolled and those yet to enrol. Please feel welcome to pop in to complete enrolments, meet me and have a walk through our space this Thursday and Friday. I will be in the room 9am to 3pm. If you cannot make it in those hours please let me know and I can make arrangements to meet you at a later time on those days.... I appreciate how tricky it can be trying to make it within work hours. It’s really important for our l...ittle ones to see where they will be before and after school and meet me before their big day! It makes the transition easier for them. Super excited to meet you all! Parents not using the service are also welcome to pop in for a squiz too! On Tuesday 28th we will have our ‘First day of grade #’ photo cards set up! Feel welcome to pop in and and have a photo taken to mark your little ones ‘first day’ of their new grade recorded in a cute fashion Everyone is welcome! See you soon! Miss Ally
