25.01.2022 Something to contemplate. What makes you happy? When we can accept life's challenges and lift up from negative thoughts..... you have a better chance of cultivating happiness. Every day is an opportunity to create a little inner smile.

25.01.2022 Second week back to classes and feeling the life force flowing. . The way we feel during a yoga practice is individual.. there is no right or wrong. . There is always a point when there is a sense of alignment, of a connection to yourself in yoga... . Is that your experience too? . . . #yogaaligned #yogapractice #alignedmind #alignedbodyalignedlife #alignedlife #yogaflows #yogaflexibility #yogastrong #yogapymble #yogaprana #yogaasana #yogaforlife #kuringgaiyoga See more

25.01.2022 I have not posted for a couple of weeks and I thought a little break was required. Applying the Marie Kondo method of decluttering.... does your socials spark joy .....I have decluttered some things that were a waste of time, became tedious and annoying and I had just moved on! Basically if we are over run by our social media and online usage creates stress then think about a social media declutter. https://www.psychologytoday.com//is-it-time-declutter-your

25.01.2022 Looks like our inspiration card will need to take a back seat for a little while! Overtaken by sanitisers and Safety Plans! Oh well....

25.01.2022 When I arrived at the Hall this morning, I parked my car, opened the door and then turned back to look outside.....the triangle window was full of blue sky brightness! I love this window in the pitch of the roof. I love teaching too!

24.01.2022 Mindfulness although seems to be the Buzzword of the moment what it is all about is actually staying in the Present moment. We can find the right balance, live in a busy life amongst the turmoils and unsettling challenges and continue to stay peaceful.

24.01.2022 HI Yogis... thanks for getting back to classes with us. We really are excited to be back and sharing yoga with you. 24.01.2022 Todays Class at 1pm I have cultivated closely and it has become our most consistently popular on our timetable. It is a wonderful hour of practice that allows you to learn the skills to counteract the debilitating affects of anxiety and depression through breathing practices, mindful gentle movement and Yoga Nidra. 23.01.2022 I finally have got back to my regular blog writing, which I enjoy but have overlooked in most recent months. Hope you might take a look. https://www.kuringgaiyoga.com.au//11/observe-your-serenity/

23.01.2022 Stepping away from the ‘socials’ for a little while has taken me back in time to a stillness and a gentle ease. . This is how I feel when I practice yoga... in my own space, just for me. . I step away from the distractions and time has no value for me.... . My yoga practice these days is much more about Pranayama (breathing practices) which lead to meditation. . However, our first entry into the world of yoga is much about learning about our bodies, how we feel, listening and observing the messages it gives us. Building strength and flexibility, endurance and resilience. . Join me and our amazing teachers in Yoga. Body, Mind, Breath and Soul Consciousness. . . . #yogapractice #yogahealth #breathworkhealing #pranayama #timeless #yogaresilience #yogastrong #yogaflexible #asanapractice #meditationpractice #rajayoga #yogabodymindsoul #kuringgaiyoga #yogaforgrownups #yogaforallbodies #yogacommunity #pymble See more

22.01.2022 What are you thinking of at the start of the week? Do you have residue of thoughts that are on high rotation? What can you let go of and what do you need or want to keep? Meditation is actually not about emptying your mind of thoughts its about recognizing, accepting and learning to let go so there are moments of stillness. As always, take an anchor to keep you 'present' and the most accessible tool is our breath! Stay tuned for a short breathing practice that I will be sharing.

21.01.2022 I have not written a blog post for quite a while. So, here it is and I promise to get back to my schedule of sharing my thoughts https://www.kuringgaiyoga.com.au/20//embrace-impermanence/

21.01.2022 Is this plant really a weed? It’s so beautiful regardless. . After all a weed is a plant growing in the wrong place.... so I guess somewhere this plant is loved and not viewed as a ‘pest’ .... Our thoughts are like that too....sometimes. . We dwell on things and over think during a yoga, meditation practice or just generally in the day to day. . The thought might be a relevant one.... an inner conversation you need to have but it’s shown up at the wrong time. . Like a weed of the mind. . But as we practice and learn the techniques of mindfulness, use the breath as a tool.... . We find the weeds can begin to find the right time to bloom. . #weedyourmind #mindgames #mindfulness #grow #breathe #meditate #beautifulflowers #isitaweedifitisbeautiful #yogamind #learnyoga #hathayogalife #kuringgaiyogapymble #unitingchurchpymble #yoginisofinstagram See more
