10.01.2022 *Please read* It seems like in today’s world we just need a template to use from one event to another to be able to tell our loyal athletes that events are being cancelled, postponed or rescheduled, as its becoming far too common with events being cancelled and rescheduled all over the country. With our athletes, their families and the local community our priority, today we are announcing a rescheduling of the 2020 Triathlon NSW 2020 Club Champs Forster to November 14, 2020. ...We will also be cancelling Kurnell 1 that was to be held 14 November 2020. 05.01.2022 This unprecedented COVID situation has forced us to reschedule some of our events to ensure the health and safety of the wider community. We appreciate the support we have received so far from our wonderful athletes and participants. Our Kurnell 1 event scheduled for November 14, 2020 will be postponed and combined with our January 10, 2021 Kurnell triathlon. We understand this is disappointing for our athletes, as it is for our team as well. Your entry will be automatically ...rolled over to the January 10, 2021 event at Kurnell, and we ask you for your patience and empathy towards our team and our sport during these very uncertain times. 01.01.2022 It is with regret that we need to inform you that the Triathlon NSW Kurnell Sprint Series triathlon, scheduled for 10 Jan 2021 has been cancelled. This week, Elite Energy Events and Triathlon NSW received notification from Sutherland Shire Council, Police, and National Parks that due to the growth within the Sutherland Shire (both residential and commercial), the event would not be approved. Triathlon NSW will endeavour to discuss future opportunities with the local approving... authorities in 2021, to (hopefully) keep Australia's longest-running triathlon series alive in 2021-22. As this event was a WQE (World Qualifying Event), the replacement event will be confirmed in the next two weeks. Credits and refunds for athletes will also be processed over the next two weeks.
