08.01.2022 Quenten and Will are working hard at restoring irrigation to the olive grove. During the drought we didn't water them and had no olives. For the first time in 3 years we're so excited to see a bumper harvest coming along. In September we'll have lots of lovely oil for tables and our skincare. But as you can see it has dried off so they need water asap. We let our sheep graze in the grove as they control the weeds and suckers. It also means they are close to home while lambing. The only negative is they trash the irrigation system.

06.01.2022 This is almost too cute! This gorgeous hen was a paddock chooky but I bought her to the house a year ago because the mean girls were picking on her. Anyway low and behold she sat on some eggs over chrissy and look what happened! Even though she jumped off after only one hatched and she deserted the rest I still think she's a super mum! #itsabitza

06.01.2022 Just over 2 months ago I posted this pic saying I would be so sad when my favorite dead tree fell over. I didn't think that day would come so soon. Last week's wind and the extra rain was too much and my grand old tree fell last night.
