24.01.2022 To all my dear customers and followers on Facebook, It makes me very sad to announce that after 11 great years, Kurrajong Interiors will closing its doors for the last time, on Friday 26th June. Over the years I have experienced phenomenal support from the local community, and I know the shop will be sorely missed. I would dearly have loved to see someone buy the business, so it could continue operating, but that was not to be. These are very hard economic times, and not many... people are willing to take a risk, even on such a well-established business. Although Kurrajong Interiors will be disappearing from Richmond, it will still exist in another form. I will be moving the shop up north to Cabarita Beach, and re-opening there at the end of July. If any of you are ever in the area, I would love to have you pop in for a visit. Please stay connected with this page, and I will share my adventures of creating a new haven of gorgeous gifts and homewares, in a very different location...by the beach! 20.01.2022 Well, I have a big announcement to make...I am reluctantly selling Kurrajong Interiors, after more than 10 wonderful years! :-( As many of you know, for the past 2 years I have been living up north and only get down to the shop about once a month. And although my girls (Janine & Julie) do an amazing job in my absence, it has just become too much for me to run the business from afar while I juggle my new business in Southern QLD. If anybody is seriously interested in buying th...e business, please send me a message and I will send you some details. Thank you all so much for your continued love and support over the years. Tonight, working back late, I overheard a lady outside talking to her husband, ooh-ing and ahh-ing at things in the window and she said "Everything in that shop is everything I love!" And that's why I love my shop...it makes people so happy, and that makes me happy... I'm really going to miss this place so much!
