20.01.2022 Athletics Cancelled Due to current Weather and Ground Conditions Tonight's Athletics is Cancelled. Hopefully we can get our last night for the season in next week.

20.01.2022 Tonight's Athletics Cancelled Unfortunately we have had to cancel again tonight due to the wet boggy condition of the grounds. Our uniform orders have come in, so we will be at the ground between 5:30pm and 6:30pm for anyone who would like to pick them up also anyone still requiring uniforms also call in.... Anyone who has recently registered your number patches will also be available. Hopefully this weather give us a break next week so we can get back to competing and having fun.

19.01.2022 Friday's Athletics Cancelled Council have informed us that all grounds are closed and will not be inspected again until Monday. So there will be NO Athletics this week.

16.01.2022 2020/21 Championships This will occur over two weekends at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre (SOPAC) and will be divided into the following age groups: LANSW Littles State Championships (U9-U12s) 20-21 March 2021 LANSW Youth State Championships (U13-U17s) 27-28 March 2021... LANSW Littles State Qualifying Little Athletics NSW is pleased to be able to provide additional information regarding the Littles State Qualifying Meets for participants aged U9 U12. The Littles State Qualifying Meet for Region 2 is scheduled at Maitland Regional Athletics Centre on the 6-7 February 2021. A participant is only able to enter up to four (4) events, you must complete a qualifying standard to be eligible. The qualifying standards are able to be achieved at your centre, another centre or any gala day/meet hosted in a Zone and Region in NSW in the 2020/2021 season. LANSW Youth State Championships (U13-U17s) A direct entry process will take place with qualification standards which will allow representation from all regions. The process will open in mid-January and close in late February. Details will be published closer to the opening of entries.

13.01.2022 ATHLETICS CANCELED Due to the heavy storm activity predicted around our setup and starting time we have been forced to cancel tonight's Athletics. We would like to take this opportunity to again thank everyone who has helped out so far this season, it has defiantly made the nights run smoother. ... Wishing all of our Athletes and their families a safe and Merry Christmas. And hopefully some better weather in the new year. We return on Friday the 29th of January 2021. See you all then.

10.01.2022 U13-U17 (LANSW Youth State Championships) Date: 27-28 March 2021 Venue: Sydney Olympic Park... Direct nominations apply for the U13-U17 via the LANSW Registration Portal. Nominations open Monday, 18 January and close on Sunday, 21 February 2021. Return here on Monday, 18 January for the link to the online nomination form. Qualifying Standards must be achieved this season, under the Little Athletics specifications e.g. weights and heights and achieved when competing in their own age group. Standards (will be posted Tuesday, 22 December 2020). Top 2 from each Region then next top 8 from across the state will be selected to compete. Announcement of successful athletes will be posted HERE by 28 February 2021. A cap of 24 athletes per event. There will be NO relays for the U13-U17 age groups.
