15.01.2022 Early morning slab pour a few weeks ago. What a beautiful part of the world we live in. When designed and constructed well, waffle slabs like this are an excellent option for residential slabs. Some benefits include ease of construction and excellent thermal performance relative to a standard slab. This slab is on a filled site and is supported on bored piers with larger edge beams to support feature rockwork.
