25.01.2022 Kustombind is well into a complete bunker overhaul at Hamilton Island Golf Club. The process is to remove the sand that has been contaminated by local rock by years of heavy rain and erosion, expose existing drainage lines, inspect and flush, reshape bases, install aggregate, spray our Kustombind polymer and finally install new bunker sand. In total 600 tons of aggregate and 1000 tons of sand has been barged onto the site. With great assistance from Brad Hole and his team, the project will be completed within the 8 week schedule, with over 4000m2 of bunkers completed. A truly unique job that has been 3 years in making.
23.01.2022 A few more bunkers getting cleaned out ready for Kustombind layer, it’s amazing how much drainage was used with old techniques. We now can reduce this by over 60%.
