13.01.2022 COMMUNITY DAY | Nabuyanitu Village, Navosa is home to the Vatutoko Highlanders Rugby League Club which will make its debut in the sport at the FNRL 2020 Vodafone Cup. The village accorded a special invite to KSRLFC staff to visit the heart of Navosa valley as members of the village were extremely proud to have 2 players from their tikina of Noikoro included in the Sigatoka Elite Development Pathway squad Wednesday 15th July, 4 of our staff made the 2 hour journey from Si...gatoka town to Nabuyanitu village and were traditionally welcomed with a Kava session before our coaches guided the players and their team manager with training specifics including a full proper warm up, Single Broncos fitness test and ball skills. For most of these players it was a first to have gone through a fully blown dynamic and static stretch warm up before commencement of training. The villagers were ecstatic to receive training equipment to assist with their preparation for the upcoming season. Our staff were then treated to some scrumptious lunch before departure. A huge vinaka vakalevu to our Sigatoka EDP Coach Suliasi Cakautabu and the village of Nabuyanitu for having us be a part of the start towards your journey. 07.01.2022 Kaiviti Silktails RLFC management were priviliedged to be a part of the Vodafone Cup Nasinu Zone club games over the long weekend as they witnessed some spectacular footy in Suva. For the first time this year, the Womens category got on a roll with Vusu Raiders defeating USP Raiders 4-0. This was followed by a series of Mens games with Makoi Bulldogs playing out to an 18-all draw against USP Raiders, Mataivalu thumping Davuilevu Knights 40-4, Nadera Panthers overcoming Kinoya... Sea Eagles 28-12 and Ra-based Burenitu Cowboys proving too strong as they recorded a 32-8 victory against Kolimakawa Nausori. Fantastic to see our Kaiviti Silktails EDP squad members all displaying dominant performances for their rspective clubs as they are evidently reaping the rewards of their dedication and committment to the programme at FNRL HQ - our East Training Hub.
