25.01.2022 The par 4, 4th at Kwinana golf club. This may be the 2nd easiest hole on the card, but leak the ball left or right off the fairway and it leaves you with a difficult approach. The green side bunker will catch you if your fall short or gather the tree above. A flatter than most green will give you every opportunity to make birdie from a distance while the first cut is quite flat allowing you to putt from off the green. ... Stay slightly right of centre with your drive to give yourself the best chance. And fail safe approach, go long and right. Good luck.

Some of our junior girls were lucky enough to walk a few holes whilst getting some valuable lessons on the course. Kathryn made mention that it is fantastic to see such a large gathering of golfers at our weekly junior clinic and there is some great potential with the young girls surprising her with some fantastic golf shots on th...e course. Landing left will leave you with a difficult up and down when trying to keep on the green. 15.01.2022 We had 13 of our Junior Members compete for this year's Club Championships last Sunday 8th November 2020. The quality of golf and sportsmanship was outstanding! Our 18 Hole Stoke competitors powered on through the afternoon and we also had a new 9 Hole Modified Stroke event to cater for our beginner/younger members. Well done to all the parents who caddied for their child and encouraged the other children in their group. Also thanks to Cheryl, Trish and Alpar who came out an...d provided support to all the kids. It was terrific to receive such positive feedback and on course patience from our membership on the day. 18 Hole Stroke and Nett event winners will receive their prize at the clubs Presentation night. A big thank you to Albe and Vicky Patton for providing the Winners of the Boys/Girls Gross and Nett prizes. 01.01.2022 Great day today for the start of our Kwinana Cup Long Weekend of Golf. Kwinana Golf Club were lucky enough to hold onto the Viner/Hegarty event with a win at home. This event has shown a great camaraderie between Kwinana Golf Club and Geraldton Golf Club for over 18 years. Would be remiss to not mention two very great and exceptional gentleman in Tom Hegarty and Ross Viner, and although they are no longer with us, we all know they would be up there cheering for their team. Congratulations to all other prize winner’s on the day. Good luck to all players over the weekend.
