21.01.2022 Please watch this. Amy is an inspiring speaker who is walking the walk as well as she talks the talk. If you want to know more about Extinction Rebellion and how you can be involved in a group effort to demand better practices from big business and our government, please get in touch.

20.01.2022 One of the best plastic free July tips yet imo!

17.01.2022 Copy pasted text from original post by Brenna Quinlan-(but I feel this is very appropriate right now) There is so much good in the world right now! People are really getting into the community spirit (albeit at a distance of 1.5 metres) and are asking themselves 'what can I do to help?' There are groups meeting up outside and online, planning how to use this time to make the world a better place. There are people sharing skills, and others growing food to share in the hungry ...months ahead. Households are vibrant and busy again, full of upskilling, making, crafting and fermenting. What have you seen recently that's helped to restore your faith in humanity? #permacultureillustrator #covid19 #kindnessepidemic

15.01.2022 This will be a great opportunity to meet the candidates and have a chat about what sort of future you want for Kwinana. https://fb.me/e/1GvP07KoW

14.01.2022 I got a hilarious / depressing package from @greenpeaceap today - a snow globe made made with ash from the NSW bushfires. It is actually snowing ash in parts ...of Sydney today. @ScottMorrisonMP #wherethebloodyhellareya #theashglobe Global warming will continue to increase the frequency and severity of catastrophic events like this. Australia, with its wealth, its highly educated population and its proud history of scientific innovation should be a global leader in sustainability. We should be inspiring other countries with technology, policy & progress. Instead, we are a global embarrassment, with one of the highest per-capita emissions rates & one of the poorest recent records on climate action. @ScottMorrisonMP: this is the issue upon which you will be judged. Please stop tooling around with trying to codify religious privilege, learn some science, and declare a climate emergency. You are missing your moment. And Merry Christmas.

13.01.2022 Copied from their main ARCCG group... For all the NEW knitters, crochet learners & sewing newbies. Try to remember your end recipient when you doubt yourself. These little beasts are frightened, injured & displaced. They care not about an imperfect shape, that the materials are not matched, new or even a particular brand. They want cosy & comfy to be safe & rest in.... As long as your nest, wrap or pouch holds them in without catching a paw or falling out - WINNER! Crack on all of you making the extra effort to learn. Well done! See more

05.01.2022 This Meetup is so much more than a sewing and gardening group Our Southern Group, facilitated by the amazing Rich Horder, works with some great local initiat...ives. Kwinana in Transition is part of the Worldwide Transition Network as a hub for the people of Kwinana to transition towards a community based on sustainable principles, shared resources and creating a better, stronger Kwinana. Their mission is to build a resilient community by empowering local people to transition towards a sustainable future. They will do this by: * Promoting inclusivity and social justice. * Providing a space that allows for collaboration and partnerships with other groups that share our vision for a sustainable future. * Creating a space where members of the community can explore connection to culture, land and values. * Encouraging and supporting the value in locally produced goods and services. * Empowering the community to take initiative in accelerating change.
