25.01.2022 Today is MAGGIE B’s last day with us before she becomes a MUMMA! She is over at Rosny throwing down one last burnerto be remembered by Mags has been such an amazing addition to our KX Tas team.She will be an amazing Mum when she and her husband Alastair welcome their new Bub sometime in November.! We wish Maggie and her little fam all the very best!.. we hope to see you and your babe back in Tas and back in class very soon and maybe back on the floor serving up absolute fire again in the future!

24.01.2022 YAY for SCHOOL HOLIDAYS! School is out for... SPRING today! Holidays can be a great time for families to spend together but it can also add a little extra stress to the juggle of life!... WE GOT YOUR BACK! If the juggle gets too much and you miss your KX class or miss the 9 hour cancellation period, no stress, we’re here to help! Just email us (when you get 5 seconds) to let us know what’s happened and we’ll be more than happy to credit your class back to you or extend your pack. We want to help you fit everything in, enjoy time with your children and still squeeze in your zen time at Pilates when you can. A friendly reminder that as much as we would LOVE to have these little cherubs (our future trainers and clients) join us at KX, unfortunately we cannot accomodate children in the studio or in reception. Insurance does not cover anyone under the age of 16 on a gym premises and we would hate for something to happen to your little people while they’re waiting for you to finish your class. Please keep this in mind. Unfortunately our trainers will have to reschedule your class if you have children with you. Enjoy the school holidays! we hope you get to explore our state with your family and fit in some Pilates when you can. Also walking/running with our choccy labrador Bentley-B, a little bit of yoga, and then I mix it up with different gym or at-home workouts depending on what I'm into at the time. I also think it's important to keep my mind strong through daily mindset work ... Favourite Food All of the food groups, I love eating food and I love cooking it. But I could eat my weight in hot cross buns...and chocolate mudcake or chocolate pudding would be my favourite dessert treat Favourite Holiday Destination Anywhere warm and sunny! Favourite KX Pilates Move Crouching Tiger, of course! If you come to my classes, you'll know that I love a tough glute and core session. I love side lying glutes as they are such a good return on investment...and box teasers because they just feel amazing! Favourite saying or quote "Success is the product of daily habits, not once-in-a-lifetime transformations" (James Clear, Atomic Habits) Coffee Order I love the smell of coffee, but I don't drink it! 19.01.2022 NUTRITION So you’re classes are booked but how are you fuelling your body for those classes!? And we’ve all heard about abs are made in the kitchen, but let’s think FUEL and HEALTH ... Our trainer Julia W, shares her quick, easy SUMMER dinner that TASTES AMAZING...! I don’t love eating lettuce leaves, to me they’re not satisfying and they don’t fill me up. But by adding pumpkin, goats cheese and avocado I was FULL, and SATISFIED.! Personally Food needs to TASTE GOOD for me, fill me up and needs to be low inflammation (my GUT loves to BLOAT ) I literally threw this meal together.! Recipe - serves 2 1 x Chicken Breast 1/2 x Avocado 2 cubes x Meredith Goats Cheese 1/4 x Pumpkin Bag of Rocket 1 Spring Onion Pepper and Salt 1. Pre Heat the oven to 210C. 2. Cube the pumpkin and put in a baking tray 3. Butterfly the chicken breast, place on the baking tray. 4. Drizzle the oil from the goats cheese jar on both the pumpkin and chicken. Add pepper abs salt. Cook did 20mins. 5. Cube the avocado, thinly slice the spring onion, cube the goats cheese. 6. Throw the rocket, avocado, goats cheese, and spring onion into a bowl. And TOSS.! 7. Add the pumpkin and chicken. The most important step.... 8. EAT SHARE WITH US WHATS ON YOUR DINNER TABLE TONIGHT.?!

She is our studio coordinator! If you’ve sent an email or called us up lately, chances are you’ve been helped by Lily! She is a superstar trainer with jam packed classes every Monday night at Hobart She is the booty queen and an Advanced class regular! We asked Lil a bit about how she values her health and why she loves KX WHAT DOES HEALTH MEAN TO YOU? Being healthy is going to look different for everyone it is all about living in a way that makes you feel your best. For me, health means feeling strong and confident in all aspects of my life. HOW DO YOU STAY HEALTHY? I have a little mantra, the journey determines the destination and I think it is SO true when it comes to staying healthy. In my eyes, staying healthy is about ENJOYING the process. I love working-out, so I do something active everyday, whether that’s a KX class, a gym workout or just a walk to the supermarket. I also try to eat mindfully, so that I actually appreicate what I am eating. When you find that path that works for you it is much easier to stay healthy without putting much thought into it. WHAT ARE YOUR TOP 3 TIPS FOR LIVING AN ACTIVE AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLE Sleep. Never underestimate the power of a good sleep routine. Sleep is probably my number one priority when it comes to my health because it makes everything else easier. Positive thinking. Reward yourself with some self-affirmations everytime you're healthy and active. Find that exercise that you love! Give something a go, stick at it a few weeks and see how you feel!

We teach progressions, regressions and modifications so that you can take the workout options that suit your needs. Every workout is YOURS to own, to challenge yourself and enjoy! There’s absolutely nothing ...wrong with taking the regressions or not taking the advancements offered throughout the class. Form is the first priority and ‘feeling’ the exercise where you should be. KX40 isn’t a race and we recommend allowing ample recovery time, but as you can probably tell Sal is super fit and experienced, so go you Sal! ... Congrats girl!
