22.01.2022 UNLEY PROUD: Getting to know your Studio In November of 2019, the same year that KX Pilates Unley was awarded Studio of the Year, we built a second Studio on level 2 of 227 Unley Road! One of only two double Studios in the country, we run 145 classes per week with space for up to 3,480 visits all to ensure that you get into a class no matter what time of day and you never miss out ... Theoretically operating a two separate business under the one roof, the team do an INCREDIBLE job at keeping that wheels spinning and our clients happy. Of course, some extensions are available if you contact the studio, but where do we go from here? 21.01.2022 TRAINER REVIEW: Lauren Sebastiani You must have been living under a KX rock if you haven’t yet heard the name, Lauren Sebastiani. A Senior Trainer across the South Australian KX Pilates Network; if anyone knows what makes a killer KX Experience, she does After her classes, I am always shaky. She pushes us to the max, and that makes me feel optimistic. I like knowing that I’ve done the work. ... I have never I left her classes without being a sweaty mess; she’s doing her job! 09.01.2022 EDUCATION: Outdoor active recovery and downtime Balance all the hard work you do in the Studio, by getting outside the Studio, and involved in outdoor activity To get fitter and stronger, our bodies require a window of rest or less intense/difference activity between classes (Beginner classes can good for this too if you’re a KX Veteran, but that’s another story).... We’re very lucky in Adelaide to have access to incredible hiking scenery, beaches and riding trails. Studio Manager | Trainer Steph enjoys her downtime at Mt Lofty balancing running the Studios, working out and the expansion of her business, Raw for Sure Need an outdoor buddy? Ask your Trainer or fellow clients for ideas/company.

05.01.2022 KX CLIENT EXPERIENCE: Intro Packs added back Starting a new exercise regime and trying something different can be a pretty daunting experience. We get it. Our Introductory Offer of 5 classes for $50 is designed to ease that tension, and have you set up for success - but we also know things can happen along the way ...... Thank you for adding my intro pack back. I think I wasted my whole first 5 pack on false starts and being nervous, so now that I have begun i’m keen to keep going. If you suffer a few tumbles along the way, don’t worry - we’re keeping an eye on you. Get in touch with us, if we don’t get in touch with you first, and we will make sure that we pick you up, dust you off, and get you going again
03.01.2022 EDUCATION: Technically speaking, the goal is to need to rest Have you ever thought to yourself, I just don’t think I’m ready for harder options because I need to rest or I can’t finish a Beginner class without stopping, so I’m not going to try an Intermediate class.... The good news is, this is normal. Even better, we want you to be trying so hard that you might need a break during your class - that’s a good sign that you’ll soon see improvements ... To get fitter, stronger and healthier, it’s a good idea to exercise to the point that you NEED to rest for a moment (that’s called working to fatigue). Take that moment, shake it off, and keep going If you’re just starting out, you’ll probably need to rest more - we know this, so we won’t kill you straight away. As you get fitter, stronger and healthier, you’ll probably need to rest less - we know this too, so we’ll give you more challenging options, hold you in positions longer, and recommend more challenging classes to keep you progressing. Everyone needs a rest sometimes, and that’s OK Our Trainers are taught to actively observe your movements, springs, and props to ensure that your workout is never too easy or too hard for you, but that you get the most out of your time, every single session
