17.01.2022 Helloooo abs! The lovely ladies working through their hundreds in class. Did you know the pilates hundreds is actually all about the breath! You will notice your instructor counting in lots of 5 the inhale... Annnnnd the exhale. While it can feel like it actually goes for 1000 breaths, the hundreds is the perfect exercise to work on coordinating your breath to the exercise. ... Do you love or hate the hundreds?

17.01.2022 INTERMEDIATE You asked and we have listened! Beginning next Monday you will notice more Intermediate classes on the schedule. ... What if my class has been changed and I am still at a beginner level? Please still come to your class! Let the trainer know and we will be more than happy to offer you beginner spring options. How many beginner classes should I do before trying an Intermediate? We recommend 4 - 8 beginner sessions and then step it up!! Always feel free to chat to your trainer about which class is most suited to your current ability. Check out a speedy version of Olivia's Intermediate class below!

07.01.2022 The mask Sitch... You must: Wear your mask to and from the studio Wear your mask up until you start your warm up. (Your trainer will let you know when to remove)... Put your mask back on as soon as you finish class and begin cleaning your reformer. Wear your mask anywhere within reception and the studio. You don't need to: Wear your mask during the workout, as soon as your class starts you can take it off and put in under your bed. Our dynamic sessions qualify as strenuous exercise, therefore do not require you to wear a mask. Your trainer will be wearing a mask throughout class. Any questions please email: [email protected]

02.01.2022 Welcome to the newest superstar to join KX Yarraville - Daria! We asked Daria a few get to know you Q's, see her answers below! 1 What is your favourite thing about teaching?... I love the smile on people's faces when they leave the studio knowing they had a really good workout and I love the versatility of layers allowing clients to progress at their own pace. 2 Favourite exercise? Definitely arm plyometrics I love how the heart rate sky rockets in a matter of seconds and the burn from the muscles constantly being under tension, outside of Pilates I love to run it's therapeutic 3 Fun fact! I was born in Poland and I am fluent in polish and came to Australia when I was 4 years old, I am also studying a bachelor of nutritional science followed by masters of dietetics at Deakin university and a lot of people don't know that I'm only 21! 4 What to expect from Daria's classes. I love high energy classes but I also love to focus on time under tension and focusing on the pace during the class to really fatigue the muscle and get the most out of each exercise Catch Daria on the schedule Sunday and Monday mornings! You will also see a lot of her over the next few weeks as she helps us all out with covers.



01.01.2022 BEGINNER CLASSES As we are all excited and a little anxious to jump back into exercise, you will notice we have changed some of our classes back to beginner. This is to allow everyone to ease back into their workouts; focus on correct form, correct breathing and of course getting a good sweat up! ... When Intermediate is the only option: BOOK IN!!
