19.01.2022 After careful consideration, the club committee has decided to cancel our engine rally. This follows an earlier announcement that the White Truck Muster will no...t be going ahead. Uncertainty surrounding Covid is making event planning impossible at this time. We remain hopeful that the year ahead will give us the security we all need to get back to normal. See more

13.01.2022 THREE GENERATIONS The Jamison family, who lived in Dawes Road, were instrumental in establishing the new Dawes Road Primary School in 1964. John Jamison (centr...e) initiated a petition in the early-1960s, calling for the establishment of another primary school in Kyabram to cater for students living at the western end of town. His son Graham (right) was among the first students when the school opened, and grandson Robert (left) also attended the school in later years. (Posted by Sandra Brown.) See more

13.01.2022 The Olympic torch arrives in Kyabram in 2000. I think it may be Faye Glover in white on the right carrying the torch. Does anyone else have any photographs of this event?

12.01.2022 After months of planning, the mural for the community garden is complete. To say that I am ecstatic with the result would be a massive understatement, it has co...me up better than I could ever have imagined. I want to give a massive shout out and thanks to Rohan Garth and the guys at Weweld Steelworx for donating the frames. It was a number of months ago that I contacted Rohan and told him about my idea for the mural but had no idea how to achieve it, and with his help we have made it a success. I also want to thank Dale and the guys at Empire Signs Group for for getting the frames up and sheeted. A few weeks ago I rang Dale and told him about the idea, and that I had the frames however that was as far as I had gotten. With his help, within a short span of time the frames were concreted in the ground, finished off and ready for painting. The biggest thanks though needs to go to Sophie and Davidson. Without their imagination and talent this project would never have gotten anywhere. So thankyou both, you have blown me away with what you have created. If you are into art at all I suggest you take a look at their Instagram pages @art_by_sophletta and @bulatemporaria they both have portfolios of incredible artwork to their names. We are so lucky to have some seriously talented artists living in our community and I can't wait to see what the future holds. So come and enjoy the artwork and spread the word (and maybe munch on some snow peas whilst you are here )

06.01.2022 Any idea what these are? Our Platinum Partner Cantech Engineering built these amazing cabin windows for our cassowary enclosure. We obviously needed somethin...g pretty special for the world’s most dangerous birds! Our partnership packages are a great way for local businesses to support and get involved with the Park. They’re a win/win because not only do our partners help us maintain and improve the Park, but our they also get benefits including entry into the Park, invites to events, business exposure and lots more. Kyabram Fauna Park is a not-for-profit wildlife park with a small team of dedicated keepers and volunteers. We’re grateful for the support we receive from the community. If your business is interested in supporting the Park, please give our General Manager Lachlan a call on 5852 2883. Thanks Cantech!
